Short more FSR @ 40.95.

SL upped on VOD long to 131 to lock in 15% profit.

Also looking to start a short on WHL at 79...will see if it gets there.

Good call on BAW Investor1..

Clearly missed that boat.. been spending way tooooo much time playing Nedbank..

my assessments tell me BAW still has legs to run even further to R108 levels..

what are your thoughts?

looks like it, as long as 100 support holds. then first resistance at 10450, then 108.

David jones vote on woolies takeover has been postponed to assess implications of billionaire Lews 10% stake

yeah!

i see that, and i feel that that guy is probably trying to get some leverage for his country road holdings buyout from woolies. I think that woolies do not have to acquire DJ, but itll help them be more competiive and grow. Other than DJ, there would be other opportunities. Anyway, in hindsight, woolies is a strong company already, and missing an oppportunity, will only allow it to look elsewere. If the management team decide to pay the premium (which in essense is what this is) for the acquisition, then they see it as still a feesible decision for the long term! (ie: worth it)

I just feel like sentiment from the market compared to the choices that are available are not aligned. itll make sense as time goes.

Could we expect a drop in WHL due to the uncertainty(or perceived so) in their acquisition of DJ?

this is only highlighting a possible risk, yet not yet a fact. So, i think if it does go down, itll be selling the idea and not the fact. i am long on woolies from yesterday though. So im crossing fingers that it shouldnt be the case. in any event, i dont think theyll fall today as the news broke yesterday before we closed with little movement to the share price.

Look for a weekly close above R62 on AVI. Looking very promising. Broadening formation breakout in the making.

Bought impala plat. A bit risky but it seems a resolution might be imminent. S/L of 108.
