Gotcha B...thought so...after hours access is great...I just hate the services providers in that space..no offence to anyone service provider...look forward to the  day where  SA is completely borders free on system availability. kinda is already..right good luck..me off to relax...incidentally  a. who can argue with FIB retracements ...price knocked right on the fib level 'doors' b. ....both those charts  would swear they are setups for small bullish falling wedge breakouts...but larger time scales show another story...like a grown man wetting his bed...till tomorrow.

B super stuff.....excellent for you....the bounce off big round number was inevitable...I closed a little early...but the spike to 243 was a bonus love it...but I said three hours ago 15187 would be NB...here  is sits PRECISELY at ...wait for it....  15187...crazy stuff.

 

 

I will short again to close 16037....or ad on break of low...looks like  low might be in for day ...outside stop 327. Can't see it. Brent is keeping dow ahem up...but actually its dollar weakness.

That downtrend seems to be holding, so i will take the 151 pips and walk away. Will enter a short if it fails again or enter a long when the downtrend is broken

I use the normal IG charts, the currency is based on the country of the instrument traded, o for US indices they are dollar based, ALSI Rand based, DAX is Euro based etc. But the account is denominated in Great British Pounds

Here is Nikkei 225, with the nice recovery in US today, i can just imagine what will happen with the Nikkei when they open. My guess is tomorrow will be a green day, at least 1.5%+ for most indices.

I dont trade alsi after hours...so am hoping like dangle it rallies....I wanna ride these guys up and then down...so, so far excellent if they all DOW/UK and ALSI (IG) keeping going. Alsi still approx. 500 points below Wednesday's close though...dang.

B what chart or instrument is that...and why does your DOW low show below 16000...and the spike high only to just above 16100  odd ...what's going on there...I always thought the different brokers and markets around the world were offering auxiliary market, pricing spread differentials etc ...but to have such disparity...is that the DOW 30 proxy...just checking?

B..one of the good guys here.  caught up in the fracas.

ZoomZ, trading the Pivots seems pretty easy, i bought DOW just above S2 when i saw the price starting to recover and i am already up 170 pips on that trade. 

I was looking at the hourly chart and saw signs of some bounce. 

Show we break out of the down trend i will close half at 16,245 and the rest at 16,450. 

Z..funny you mentioned argentina - beautiful country.  stayed on a cattle ranch for couple of weeks back in 2004 - imho...best beef in the world

internationally the product is graded by "marbling" certain prime cuts ie. ribeye/porterhouse/sirloin
