This share has moved over 40% in one week. Results of the optimisation study filtering through into the share price?

Guys I say forget the past and the Raging Bull Story and start looking forward. As I said earlier in this thread you have plenty of time so no need to rush. However, the share did do pretty well last year so anyone brave enough for a long term punt could consider this one. The results of the optimisation study were impressive but we did expect that of the Chinese to bring the project ahead of schedule and cut the costs so well done to them.

I don't see any recent sens for Wesizwe. There seems to be strong demand for the share today. Anybody know why?

Gentlemen i see this is an old post...

can we resurrect it seeing that the chinese are making things happen (the first drawdown on the loan)...

What do you make of it's future prospects?

and now down 20% today!!!

Only noticed recent price action this week. I bought this share at what I thought was a bargain basement price of R1.80 a few years ago. It turned out to be my first hands on lesson in defining  what the term Value Trap means !!  :o

Who knows, maybe plans are afoot to take out minorities. Last NAV I saw for this share was R2.24. Gotta be positive!! ;)

Is this thing still listed? Probably Chinese money keeping them afloat..

Where is Raging Bull that punted this one for all those years on PSG?

Working on the mine now?

Wesizwe has moved up almost 95% since end July (from 48c to 94c today).  Volume, although still low, has also doubled.

Any ideas on the reasons for this move?

hdbb how can we forget that legend of the PSG forum in its day?

But guys my input here take your time as you have plenty of it with this share. If I am not mistaken they do have a small income but it will only become a real player around 2018 unless the Chinese are able to drive the building of the mine ahead of schedule which is not entirely impossible. But then who knows what the world economy will look like in 2018!

I was actually thinking of getting in, but its still a long road ahead, so plenty of time to decide. For now, I am just gonna wait and see how things progress. May look at buying in a year or 2. Highly doubt the price will go up until probably 2016

I average R1.78. i am in for the long term.
Agree with the backing should be a good company in the future.
Need to buy some more to average down?

I traded within Wesizwe in 2008 at the time when everyone thought this company would run. Within a few months I lost 100% of my investment where I got in at price above R10. Look at the price today. Irrespective of they get the loan from the chinese, they only talking about early 2018 to really start mining. I believe there are other companies to look at and wouldn't touch this company. Mad Mad Mad

I would think it has to do with the huge loan they getting from a chinese company, a good few billion I think. With that kind of backing, its hard to believe that this company will not succeed.

Hi Guys
Does anyone have any info on why there has been such large volumes going through Wesizwe the last week?
When volumes spike, price should follow shortly??
