what is a 'TIP" and what is a tech call??

please know and understand the difference...

a TIP

1. this is a one in a million share.

2. i have inside info

3. came  from the horses mouth

4. use of word WE

Tech call :

You see it on twitter , you see it on TV  , you see it here..

Thats when you analyse a chart and make a call with entry , target and most of all a stop!!

no one and i repeat no one gets it right 100 or even 90% of time...

if you use a sound risk reward ratio and have a 60% hit rate , your account can go north over time... So if you make 4 wrong calls but 6 right calls you can still make money if you use the right risk reward ratio.

  1. Trusting strangers on an anonymous chat forum can be a risky business. Even more risky than the stock market.
  2. I have tried to warn the vulnerable, being those without adequate savvy: e.g.: https://swrict.blogspot.com/2018/11/sharechat-warning.html
  3. Vultures circle hereabouts. Give them control and say goodbye to your money.

thought I will just post something that it does not look like you are talking to yourself:

..... something.....

typical...You one of the Waiters from the PS bar serving in the wrong hall!!

Go back there and wait....damn lots of waiters there to share your something with!!

But maybe you are right...the quality of members left in this forum leaves much to be desired hay...

Besides a  hand full which you can count on your fingers ( old brigade that is) rest is basically follow the head waiter/leader and have becomes waiters too!!!

Waiting for the next waiter to arrive...soon pretty soon!!!

and today we had money flow clearly shown in one particular share.. :)

Unlike the PS , 2 critical pieces of info out by the company themselves early this week and clever money pouring in after a delay or 3!!!

Up 10% today....

One got to clearly define the difference between market value ( where the money is) , net asset value , and actual perceived value!! Know the difference when trading.

If you betting on actual and asset value on tickey or small cap stocks you on to a hiding to nothing....aint Ellies in same boat?

make that 15% in a day....wow....money flow at its best!!

Every week and every day there is money flowing somewhere in the market. You juts have to be sharp  and be  aware and track it . Money is like energy. It never disappears but moves from one source to another. You only need to understand who holds the leaver and you can make a handfull of winning trades every week.

The key to success is INFORMATION people. You will never get shafted if you do your homework and read where the flow is headed and plan ahead. Its great fun and very fulfilling. And of cos rewarding...

Of cos trading like the gamblers and speculators have been around from day one..This is why i said if you want to have an edge  you need to do the hard yards and take trading as a full time job..

PS: im not reinventing the wheel here fellas!!!

I for one have been using tech analysis for about 20 years and here is my comment :

Most people think about market of what already happened instead of understanding what’s about to happen ....Because what’s about to happen has happened before in history many times over. Recognizing the patterns then deploy it in the current state makes a geometrical difference!!!
Everything is fractal in nature.. Sometimes same patterns within patterns..

To compare buying art or a car to trading in shares are completely miles apart. One has no volume and other huge volumes and identical same product. Law of supply and demand takes over. Price is objective while value , subjective. Who determines value anyway? An individual buyer or seller? Or a group of buyers and sellers called the market place !!!!

Prices have been predicted for ages using tech analysis , even here on forum...Wont be 100% of times for sure but anything over 60% using  a winning risk reward formula will give you the edge in the markets!!!

Some one posted this and i quote :

Remember, there is no real or tangible relationship at this moment between the company value and the share price.  At the best of times, Share price is just some arbitrary number that a buyer and seller agree to exchange for a merx.  For example, you could sell work of art, or a car for vastly different prices depending on a number of circumstances; eg perception of "value", the degree of how keen the seller is to sell and what is his financial situation, how desperate is the buyer and what is the buyer's financial situation, is there a real value or is the value determined by a love for something eg a work of art, etc.

It is probably a lot easier for someone like me who is a deep value investor who pays no attention whatsoever to the traders.  I am extremely skeptical about trading, and I cannot believe that anyone would be able to predict a future share price based on historical trading patterns and volumes.  No offense to any of you guys who do follow technical analysis.
