148.65 and counting, did you short it Soutie

Soutie, doubt you shall see 175 for a long time as post div the market has seen substantial volumes, 165- was a good short number as it is 159.25 now.

So if you take the next logical step it surely should be short any bounce....!

Should it reach R175 again I will sell blood & other body fluids to get a piece of that action.

However I'm not short ATM.

Thanx Merlin & Soutie

Ok so we looking at a supply tsunami...out of those articles a surplus of 7m tonnes this year and by 2018 = 260m tonnes. And Vale, Rio and BHP collectively pushing supply above 1bn tonnes these coming years, no thank you I'll rather sit on the side line until we see a clear sign that demand is picking up...maybe  2020+

Mr Balls, not quite what you asked for but pertinent:

Goldman Sachs predicts global surplus will rise from 7 million tonnes this year to 260 million tonnes by 2018 - http://www.miningaus...amid-price-glut

Oh how the mighty have fallen, from over 600- Jan 2013, to 165- (and counting) in March 2015 and no light at the end of the tunnel, free fall into the abyss

I think of those poor souls who are holding on as they cannot accept a loss, while the loss just gets bigger and bigger and bigger each day.

KUMBA will be a penny stock very soon. I pity those buyers thinking that it has bottomed and carry on thinking it has bottomed and then some more bottom and more to come.

Nothing is further from my thoughts - Kumba is in short mode for years to come.

Anyone brave enough with an entry price for KIO?

Yeah I also think the company is great they have outstanding market presence when you shop some 20% of your basket is TBS & lets face it Africa needs food...!

Matlare wanted to prove he is a deal maker & has seen his ass flapping in the wind for almost 2yrs since the deal... That could be the catalyst to get the price moving up. But while he's still trying to fix his f-up south it will keep going. So short it is for me till then, not doing what I did with KIO just staying in this time not trading it.

Cheers.

Thanks for the heads up S. TBS also came up on a system exploration I built to find very expensive shares using fundamentals. I used to love this company, it just got too expensive. At some stage it will revert to its mean and I think your point about Dangote will be the catalyst. Now I watch the candles for an entry.

No not now banked very good profits, what was really nice throughout is the amount of accumulated interest that a short position generates over a 5-6mth period.

Looking to do the same with TBS have been short since end of Jan. The Dangote deal is a total disaster & only getting worse, heard news that competent exec's are refusing to be transferred to Nigeria.  Every results since have been woeful. Fund managers are propping it up me thinks, 1st one that dumps it's down big style for TBS.
