9c lowest price since listing
Yep on less than R5000 trade. We wont get a true reflection of the price until the volumes increase.
Looking forward to the annual results today (hopefully). I am sure the new CEO will be quite upbeat with things to come. Hopefully some large management buys as well when the closed period ends today.

If there really is a major turn around looming they will be kicking their lips at the opportunity to get in at 10c...

Agree totally with comments Re: Management. However an acquisition I f%ckin' hope not....!
They don't have any free cash to buy paper to correspond with or for the details of a deal to be written on...!
Can you imagine the dilution @ 10c/share...
TNAV will be reset & set top boxes will be written off completely I hope. Then there's very little downside to come & plenty potential upside available.
Steady the ship up the ante on communicating the new strategic targeted turn-around.
No news flow & this will be sub 10c in no time...
Anyone need a heads up...!

This is an example of a Big Bath. New Management is getting all bad news out so future earnings will make them look great.
They even took out the profit that raised interim result earnings
Exactly. Sounds like they put considerable effort into making that trading statement sound bad. Watch them sort out the top box inventory, fund an acquisition and build on the solar and lighting business. think we are at the bottom now. Hopefully!

The decline is mainly attributable to:-
- a marginal decline in revenue compared to the 2018 fiscal year;
- new management re-assessing the saleability of inventory
Thankfully they addressing the set top box issue.
ALL doom & gloom till results at month end.
Yeah would love to know the result of those assessments!

Unfortunately no profit after write downs
Yep. Still interested to see their expansion plans in the year end results and whether there are any decent acquisitions on the cards

Unaudited interim consolidated statement of cash flows
Cash flows from operating activities (46 183)
Cash generated from operations (36 633)
Cash flows – continuing operations (52 111)
Net movement on cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents at the beginning of the period (74 799)
Cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period (129 497)
For a business to still be in business you have to generate free cash flow. Look at the above (taken from https://elliesholdin...31-Oct-2018.pdf )
Simple they don't make a profit.
Yeah sure I would love to see them turn a corner.
& they are running an overdraft of R152mil
The R378mil positive balance....? I'm no accountant but I know why they trading @ 11c with a TNAV sitting in the 50c park...Set top boxes that are booked as inventory that can be sold but to who & when....? So yeah when that happens this will rocket....But what happens if they remain in the warehouse for another 5yrs...?
Pure gamble here IMO
Reason....Circumstances beyond their control which could easily sink this company.
Risk reward in the 10-13c is worth a shot just not your kids school fund or your access bond...
Cheers.
Soutie.

Strange that no trading statement is out. Surely numbers would be a lot different to last year's results. EPS at interim was 11cps.
With nav at 63cps there has to be a write down if this share is remaining at 11cps. Just my 2cents
Last year it came 3 days before final results so expect the trading statement to only come on Friday.
I think this share started tanking from the mid 20's when there were management issues. No such thing anymore so hopefully less of a risk for newbies to buy in.
That being said no high net worth person will be able to get in at the moment as no liquidity. 63c Nav yes and what could set this one on fire is if there is a major acquisition on the cards. We know they have in excess of 300m+ in cash.
Market cap of 68m is a joke... revenue 1.4b
