Starting to hot up, volumes increasing gradually. Nice.

This in my opinion is going to be a very sound business which will make a good return for investors over the short to medium term. Trust me you have entered at the bottom and will make some real gains from there.

It is good to see some more buying activity happening, it shows this is now one to watch and to get in while the price remains this low.

I have some MRI shares which I picked up at R12.00

Been some nervous moments when it dropped to R8.00, but seems to have stabilised between R10 & R12

SA relies on coal for its power stations and there will be a shortage in SA soon. When MRI gets this right, and produces high quality briquettes at sensible levels, then their technology can be copied with other SA coal producers to use their fines, and remove a potential hazard and turn it into an additional income source for the coal mining companies. For the sake of another 6 weeks, it seems crazy not to wait to "get the production quality right" before committing to large scale production. This is why only now, the drying plant is being commissioned - no sense spending money if the air dried briquettes are rubbish. It appears, that the briquettes are going through this quality test now.

Won't be long now until the briquetting project is up and running and they start making some money. Long term solution for AMD also released at end of month.

MRI update today. More delays due to logistics, however positive news overall with full production due in September. Bring it on.

If you insist on pumping this lame horse please do it in the privacy of your back garden...!

Think they have restructured enough etc with the Canadian Partner and Pharmaplan, short term it will possibly go down bit further, will definitely add at some point as I like the long term prospects, but currently it's a bit bumpy (and thus probably as Saints said a excellent time to buy)

PE is very high

Acid Mine Drainage is a problem and it has to be done, but I think there is lots of companies that is going to try and get on the boat.

 

Have a look at the figures and make a call. I would not invest to much, only what u can loose with out sleep

My take is that I was bloody lucky yesterday. If look at how much it dropped and then add the gains I received from switching my holding then I preserved around 15%!

I feel sorry for those in LHG at the moment though but I'm still a believer long term. Will wait for the dust to settle and then at some point will look to get back in. I'm actually in the pharma space myself so know it very well. LHG definitely has a lot going for it in the mid to long term.

A few people are hyping TOR though I don't know much about it. Would be interested to hear some opinions on it

Think Gamma sums it up pretty well! I'm a gambling man but at this stage of the game there's only promises with this one, I'll revise my statement when they prove themselves a bit more and release some solid results etc..

 

Rather back the winning horses, smallcaps that have delivered and proved themselves over the last couple of years and still have a lot of potential.. (e.g. Ellies, Calgro, Afrocentric, Rolfes, Mix.. anyone else cares to add some more I'm not mentioning?)

Surely, given the potential of this business, this is the best time to invest when the price is at its lowest and where you can maximise your earnings. I am not saying put your house on it, rather a smaller amount in which you could make anything from double to ten times the profit on return.

The briquette business alone will show fast returns once operational, and if AMD contract awarded then this will rocket. They do have the most cost effective and best solution to the problem.

Its a penny share and illiquid at that. If you enjoy throwing money away at least give it to a good cause!
