I've also noticed the big movement in share volume traded the past 3 days
Probably someone who is frustrated and needing cash for other investments
Unless there is something brewing we don't know about, but I doubt it
Probably just a frustrated holder

That large selling cannot be from any ordinary PI... Think something is brewing...

I am slightly overexposed after that bid matched at 6c. I'm selling them back at 7c which may stifle the price for a while, sorry guys!

I will put a bid back in at 6c should I manage to sell, just to create some support

Guess I was wrong. Full bid has been matched :/ would be interested to know who's selling out...

It's probably someone in need for cash. I mean the logical thing to do would be to wait until the financials come out. At least see whether there is an increase in value before you dump the shares at a 25% discount.

Secondly it could be a someone who got in at 5c ie director and is happy with a 20% return.

At least you averaging down which means you'll earn much more when you sell especially when you buy at these levels. I see that the shares at 6c got snapped up

I put a big buy in at 6 so the price won't drop below that anytime soon

Anyone willing to do a R400 trade to push the price back up to 9c so our portfolios look good?  :P

Yusufm, the only thing going for these guys is the Coal Briquetting Project, which at this stage is small, but good thing is its making a profit. So if they can expand it,more profits can be made. At this stage I do not see any stimulus from them maybe in the coming year when they get to start new sites or get new agreements with the parties they are engaging with at the moment.

Ok guys, I've been quite frustrated with MRI this week, that I decided to phone CVN.

What I found interesting and kept me positive is that CVN has in fact not bought into MRI yet.

In the October SENs announcement which was very detailed, I was pointed out that CVN shareholders still need to approve the acquisition at 10c.

This means that 30.02% of MRI has not yet been bought at 10c!

A circular is being posted to CVN shareholders on the 12th, now delayed to 15th December for notice of the vote in January. And if CVN shareholders approve the acquisition, then CVN will be doing a share swap that values MRI at 10cps.

it was a lot to take in, but I do feel a bit relieved that influence by a bigger brother company can still take root.

The short term traders who were looking for a large move as a result of the good trading statement have left (seeing as we probably won't have a quick rise without further stimulus). Only longer term traders still bidding.
I was expecting the share price to shoot up but now it seems really unlikely

Does anyone know why demand has dropped for MRI shares?

They also didn't disclose any of their expenses. When I went to check out their annual financial statements, they didn't diclose any operating expenses then either. Hopefully the new FD can do better.

MRI 6 months coal revenues while operating at a third of what they expect to be after 28th Feb 2015 are R2.827 million. So simple maths indicate MRI are targeting R1.4 Million / Month with all upgrades completed by end of Feb 2015 FROM WASTE

Hi Griffin

Were you happy with the results? I haven't seen a general increase in bids. Not sure if the news was good for investors. Maybe it's because they overestimated their profits in the trading statement and did not meet the range?
