CFD - day trade for the day

Out of MTN - even. Not really happy about it - might reset at higher price.

Have move MTN SL to breaK even as I seem to the only person shorting it!

have entered long trades on CML and Tongaat @ 6639 and 13255. Tongaat is on trend - 1 buy and a manual trailing stop.

Had a perfect trade on PPC - hit both my buys and and my two sells - last third is now on a trailing stop.

Sold KIO the same day at 16598 for R1800 profit. Should have sold SHP also, where up R4000, now I am down. Lesson: Take your profit sooner rather than later in this market

In WBHO long at 14000 (TP 15300 - SL 12083)

Bought KIO at R162. It's been going up and down between 160 and 170

Went long SHP at 177.82. Trading update good, could run up to results released on about 21 Feb. Deal with SNH unclear

Still in Cargo, Sibanya and short MTN

opened shorts on:

Arrowhead 896 (s/l 942 t/p 841)

Richmont 10377 ( s/l 10724 and TP 9648) Mind the gap!

Today need to go long Gold - Ang/GFI/ SGL

Taking a chance today

Short 1,000 ang shares @ R159 - (currently R158,2) Want to close at R157 - Hope gold dips at some point to about 1185 even for a few mins to close trade

Short GFI 1,000 shares @ R45,55 - Hoping for 44,55 - Currently 45,49

if gold goes up will have to close at a loss or stay open overnight depending on how extreme.

Lets see - may get burnt

Just need a 1% dip at some point in the day and the trade can close.

Today was long ANG

Try to avoid open positions on gold overnight

Very volatile so big swings 

Will wait for trading to reopen and go with the momentum either way

Will post an excel of my last 10 trades
Won on 9 but only up 7k as i lost 10k on 1 sibanye trade due to greed - lesson learnt on no open positions more than 2-3 days

More a swing trader (S&R) myself - I am in Sibanya - bought at 2430 (2nd buy would have been 1957) - also have two stops (1/2 and 1/2) -my exits is in 3rds - first is 3141. 

I am a nervous when it comes to resources - so have huge stops - still new though.
