Good Evening

The loss goes into your basket of taxable income.

It actually depends on your employee tax that you have paid during the year.

IF the CFD loss reduces your taxable income to zero and you paid in R20000 of PAYE you will only get a Refund of R20000.

If there was a way to recover 100% everyone would be trading!

If you need any help give me a buzz i am a professional.

Regards

Hi Guys

Im new to you forum. I also declared my CFD loss but only got paid about 25% back. Did I do something wrong? I made a significant CFD loss last year.

Depends in which tax bracket you fall.

Hi Guys

I claimed a CFD loss for FY2017 successfully with SARS.

Submitted tax return on the 3rd of July. Was selected for an audit. Submitted documents online.

Refund was paid out of the 21st of July.

Same story. Haha damn trading. I didn't tick to be ring-fenced because I might never ever make a trading profit.

Did you make a share loss /trade loss/ derivative loss.

Did you know you can recover a loss through your tax return depending on the circumstances.

So far I have had a 100% success rate including a client loosing R3 million in CFD's.

I also perform the following services:

- Tax Returns

- Recovering SARS admin penalties

 - VAT recovery

 - Payroll

 - Bookeeping

 - AFS Preparation

 - Company Registrations and amendments

 - BEE certificates
