Just checked out the chart for rand/ dollar!! Breakout boys...R11.00 is around the corner!!
This alsi is going to run for the next week or so!!
rand weakness and talk of recession should on fundamentals alone push the T40 much higher..if resources play game it'll be happy hour

oneday behind schedule but hopefully tomorrow is short cover deluxe day
Stuff this SB...My shorts are a gonner at 44768..thats a 500 point hit averaged across the 5 posis..Should have closed them all sqaure this afternoon. looks like we might still make that new highs on the 30/5 - 2/6 looking at the charts again.
Im long again at the same level..45200 is my mark

So tempted to go short here. Restraint required.
Did not exercise restrained and went short @ 950. Rationalising it as a discretionary trade....not feeling to good about it. Will probably close at first good opportunity....

back in the olden days, the first reaction on some news or data release, could be faded with high probability (direction wise). have not followed price action closely for the last 5yrs, so quite keen to see how this one works out.
nevertheless, closed another handful of longs today...
