Hi Argento, it seems that down to 48200 has to wait for the current rally, charts seem to indicate its dead cat bounce up to 1839/45/50ish on S&P500 and then last throw to 1800/1780 to give us our 43800/600 ish for our longs!! (of course could translate into missing the boat though!)

USD NOT the dow jones has now joined the ranks of the rank and file currencies...it's **** stinks like other non reserve currencies.

here is the dow divided by the USD index....i.e. it s the translation gains/forex earned by Dow companies set back into dollars, much like the falling rand benefits SA commodity producers.

the Dow is now only up..or going up...as a result of it's currency devaluation.

if the dollar is king all better short the dow...it's going down if dollar is king actually the usd dollar is exporting huge inflation...and were it not for it's reserve status avocados would be 1.12 each. durren beleive me....sure, then wait till china / asia main and other stable economic nations price commodities and trade in a yuan/euro/ruble/gold index basket...we'll all live well and happy with affordable realities absent the US dollar. An imposter. tick tock. if the USD was king there would be very little reason to provoke mighty Russia and China.

interesting day....I am a little perplexed how to comprehend the 43300 gap close....i see the low was 43250..but was it all real?? does not look like it closed i dont not see the gap closed on Swordfish (DWT data chart) I shall be waiting for the up 43900 gap to close and prolli short the living bejeebaabas outa the ALSI..but that's just me argento...mate you went short after closing long and the market has waged against your positions..I hope all goes well for you. good trade roundtree...nice bucks for a risk trade...you could hope to ride all the way to 43900 for up gap close...my money would be against it however but who knows now? Looks like the market's finally decided to rally once again after a reasonably long consolidation phase. My target of 43715 still stands although I can see this bad boy reaching 44113. My system, however, says I should exit this trade at 43700, so it shall be done.

Be careful, Monday's very tricky day to confirm mr market's intention...that bearish weekly candle is a red flag!

Filled! 6 contracts at 43475. My target is 43715.

Looks like the market's finally decided to rally once again after a reasonably long consolidation phase. My target of 43715 still stands although I can see this bad boy reaching 44113. My system, however, says I should exit this trade at 43700, so it shall be done.

I would like to think the market didn't really touch that 43067 TOP40F this morning as we opened up much higher and that was when the JSE went down?

 

Anyway last week's reversal candle suggest the bears still got some business to the downside!

 

My target is that 42750/800ish TOP40F level for my shorts and also my long entries!

 

Some indicators showing the bulls are starting to gather their armies for their assault later this week...!
