No pop here. Not yet.
US budget deal was what caused tapering to be delayed last time. News out of US this morning is that a deal might be done soon. Before 18th, so the market is thinking there is no real reason not to taper in Dec. IMO
One last Dec18th bull might come. But we should expect a big correction towards end of Q1
No profession requires more hard work, intelligence, patience, and mental discipline than..speculation.

No pop here. Not yet.

I seriously would not be looking at a long today unless 600 holds and if not hello 150...and maybe 39000

A seems like we following the same pattern as decem 2011 if so no santa rally this year?
Looks like it indeed, see she bottomed on the 21st December 2011 but futures close-out was on the 15th, so this year then we are looking at a possible low date around the 24th as futures close-out is on the 19th...
But will need to see where she lands, the bears are back in control now!
That nasty weekly reversal candle is pushing her down and afterall this time the trend is still down, only way I'll consider longs now is when we get a mean bullish reversal candle on the weeklies, we could possibly see a good rally last week of December into January...!

Where you looking to go long. I will enter at 39600 with tight SL. Just incase we bounce off 396, but will see first
