We were lucky to have climbed on the express when it started yesterday.

 

I got off around 40150.

Now i'm on the bullet train from 40073, but 40200 is my stop.

I will call it a day with over 1000 pips made.

Dont bet on that resistance line being very strong..Remember the last time the US was closed we hit 2% for the day..I don't see many sellers in the charts so if we break 200 we might hit 350 and then 600 today

So London close will be the closing bell today 18h30

Well if we come under 40000/40050 today, I'll take the short side/stand aside, that might not be good.

For now I'll enjoy the long side

That 40500-700 will be the supply area. A lot of bears will be sitting there.

We might have a pit stop around there.

Maybe start ranging until big news.

They say US markets will open tomorrow but will close early. 13h00 US time

Does that mean more upside due to low volume.

 

If we get any upside tomorrow, what's the next big resist according to our techies out there

to me it looks like some resistance should start coming in between 40400/40500, maybe then pull back to 40000/39800

Remember I am only day by day. And he has almost ruined the party for today. But I am sure there will be some more climbing by FTSE towards the end of the day pulled by US. Then watch out for the drop late night in the US as traders take profit before the long weekend...

Hi A...My retest was 38800 if we are below 40000...but this mornings strong push means money is back on the table! 40000 should provide nice support and even more so if we finish round the 200 mark at close. Tommorow we should see the third green candle of a three outside up formation hopefully off a 40000 retest and then the backs of the bears should be broken. But hey this old lady dont listen to no-one
