Will see what type of top (island top/return move?) she makes if that final washout is still on the cards...but US got a possible new high to make first!

They say it was "soo bad" (in the Chinese gvt's eyes), that it most likely going to force the Chinese gvt to consider some sort of "stimulus" - hence turned out to be "good news" for the markets...or rather, not so bad news!.
China seems to be a lot more fixated on having a healthy econ, I wont bet on them pumping the QE thing.

I wonder why the weak Chinese GDP figures did't cause a drop.

Maybe: "If it's not bad news, it must be good news"?
I wonder why the weak Chinese GDP figures did't cause a drop.

I'm so confident of the long I am going to leave my long open, without a stop, and my weekend starts now.
Cheers everyone.
See you Monday.
Came back a bit from our high of Friday, bit I'm not worried.
I will start to look @ closing my longs tomorrow afternoon. Before Beranke's speech starts to get priced in.

With us being up more than 4% for the week there is some profit taking on the horizon, methinks. The drop should start in Asia Monday, and spread across the globe like SARS (the virus, not Gordhan's place!) Got in short @36200, which is a bit lower than I had hoped. Target should be the gap at 35200-ish, but I haven't got the sitting tight thing wrapped up yet. Miskien ry ek hom tot heel onder hierdie keer [Afrikaans]
just because the market was up doesn't mean it now has to go down.
markets are not predictable..if it was everyone would be billionaires.
Asia up. Commodities to rally.
