so i have a trade on both currencies USD in @ 11.25 and GBP in @ 18.40 

 

when would you get out of these two?

if market goes higher our currencies will strengthen and vise versa..

So basically its your take what the market wil doo....

im still looking at R10 to dollar and R16 to the pound....but remember if massive fall starts, our currency will weaken even further to support the market as outflows will be more than inflows!! so catch 22 at moment...That's why its called the beast I suppose!!

When the crash came in 2007/8 in worlds markets, we actually continued to go north form a while as our currency hit the roof and resources ran like never before....

GBP/ZAR @ 17.70 down from 18.75

USD/ZAR @ 10.70 down from 11.38

daily these are moving lower and lower...think about it

If leading markets start tumbling, our volume will increase and it won be because of buyers,

I think buyers are done buying in at these levels and sellers will be chasing buyers, so the drop will be exaggerated.

That  is if leading markets start to drop.

I agree with this article therefore I don't trade with stops anymore, no stops, no knock out, trade very small sizes over longer periods of time, they can only go against you for that long, manage the money ... and you'll manage their pathetic ways
