Why did you sell?

Needed cash, heard bad news, felt it was overvalued...?

I liked this a few months ago and made a nice return to date, but it's a risky one and I'm struggling to justify the fat premium to NAV it's sitting on. Getting close to 4 now. High for a property developer.

Will look to sell around mid 18's.

Sold my shares for big down payment on apartment I bought..(was excellent deal!) hence needed the money! Also limiting my actual stocks I play to punts/new listings etc as I pissed away too much on impulse trades etc, don't have the discipline to trade actual shares! Very expensive school fees :)

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

If they continue to produce such stellar results in 2015 H2, then R25 a share could well be a reality by year end.

Realised with bit of a shock I'm sitting on 127% profit, after not moving much past 25% profit a little while back.

CGR has gone parabolic.

Closed at 980 beginning of December. Today's close 1299.

1500 now. reached 1600 before pulling back to the close. 135% over 1 year.

As of today, I'm up about 108%. Been in since Oct 2013, at 632<br />And my holding is so small :-(<br />Will reassess in the new year, once the steam train slows down for a moment.<br />I'd love to add, but...

SENS today

The company expects an increase of not less than 35% in earnings per share (“EPS”) and not less than
30 % in headline earnings per share ('HEPS') for the 12 months ending 28 February 2015 when
compared to the reported EPS and HEPS of the corresponding period of 83.16 cents per share.

Anyone see any movement in this share in the short term (6 months or so)?

Difficult to tell with CGR. I got in at 450. The price went no where during 2013. In the past 6 months its run up nicely. 30-40%.

It's a small cap so timing is very difficult. Not a trading stock or even a short term buy. If you buy you need to buy on a 5 year outlook.

For me I'm still happy with them. Fundamentals are fine and order book looks solid. Secondly, the macroeconomics are supportive. Low cost housing is clearly in demand for the long term. The only risk in the short term is that low end consumers and home buyers are likely to remain under pressure due to the depressed economy. When the the economic outlook turns for the better we should see a boost in support.

Results not bad but not that great either, what your opinion gamma?

Results solid, pipeline great.

Sitting tight. Even adding on the dips

Nothing untoward here  - case of buy the rumour, sell the news.

What you will see now is a run up to over 7 in the next 4-6 weeks, if not higher

Can anyone explain the dip after this announcement?

Was a higher EPS/HEPS expected?

More than likely but is still good, think it'll jump again when the results are out
