Results might be due today - interested to see what the US is bringing to the table
Definitely. So around 40% increase in EPS but remember the number of shares in issue has increase 25% since last Sep results... Actual profits would thus be up around 80%.

One last thing:
As per the Sens on 14 June 2016 Midbrook La Management LLC and Conduit Capital acquired 34. 89% of Finbond.
"Finbond hereby confirms that it has received notice from the above named parties in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, and that it has filed the required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel."
At these ridiculously low prices don't be surprised if an offer is made shortly. I am thinking R4.50-R5.00 for the remaining shares. I picked up a chunk over the course of the week. Lets see what unfolds.

Very very low price. Anyone keen on this punt? revenues expected to double within the next 6 months with the new North American business coming online. Shares currently at an all time low. With new trading update PE should be around 20 which is way to low given management promises for the next year.
Your inputs will be appreciated. Thanks.

Give us a heads up Saint, always open for new punts!
Wheres the user PM function!

you have a point there Goliath. We all like to as best as possible have a number of a good quality stocks in our portfolios (FBR) but sometimes have the urge to take a punt to either win big or loose all. I am not invested in FGL but do have another stock in my portfolio that would have most investors running for the hills and that is my 'secret punt.

Agreed Saints, this one still under the punt section on my watchlist.. I'd rather back winning horses (smallcaps = Rolfes, Afro, Calgro), but 1 or 2 small punts doesn't hurt!

True Goliath but I am still not convinced as it is easy to post a great trading statement when you are coming off a small base and made a loss in the previous year. The true PE can now be calculated and yes the share looks expensive and i cannot see the share price stable at a such a high PE. I have only seen small investors trade on this one hence characterisitc of a speculative penny stock.

I'll get into FGL but want to see the coming financials first.. was in last year but sold when I doubled up, big big mistake!

tempted to take a punt on FGL and or OLG but wary of entry at current levels. glanced at the graphs(FGL) for last year..+1250% !!
the guys who got in early must be smiling all the way to the bank.
