Sharechat is now available on Ipad and Iphone! JUst search for Sharechat in the App Store

We are still busy with various fixes and changes, particularly looking at the old topics that did not all import correctly and we are working with the forum suppliers on this.

Now you can get an Android app for Sharechat. Just search for the word Sharechat in the Android Store. Apple version coming soon.

Apologies we have had some issues with permission settings on some of the member levels. A new user could in some cases do more than a senior member! Some of this was fixed last night.

 

We have also fixed the option that will allow one to change your display name. The link to do this is:

There is a limit to how many changes you can make.

Currently you can only post in the main Sharechat topic, the other topics like test and commercial will be enabled tommorow

We will be changing settings and tweaking a few things over the next few days. You will already find many new features and we plan to enable more in the coming days/weeks.

Welcome to the new Sharechat. We have in fact been testing this new software for a while but due to the amount of spam we have done this change over much quicker than we had wanted. We would have liked to give everyone time to test it out and give feedback, but under the circumstances a quick changeover seemed best.

 

We have imported all data from the old forum and everything should also be searchable. There were some issues with attached/embedded images but we seem to have a fix for that.

 

Apologies to those who may have lost messages posted this afternoon, the conversion takes a while and we thought it best not to reimport all the data which would have meant waiting a further day.
