I think this pole has been receiving misguided answers with obvious confusion as to which order is preferred.  eish.. quite messy stuff.

Admin, Is it possible to have a sort option by date for those who want ascending order?

I prefer the new system since the latest comment is the first thing you see. So I vote No.

I've been going crazy trying to find the setting to change it back to previous. Had just about given up. personally find the current 'recent at top' in topics a complete pain. I've been seriously considering finding an alternative.

I honestly think you should change it back to how it originally was and the way all other forums that I use work. Hence amend new posts at the end of the thread like a book works.

Farouk does have a very valid point, it is highly annoying to click on a thread and then to go and look for the last post you've read. I'm still not taken to the first unread post as he claims when clicking on a topic BUT many other forums work that way. I couldn't find a setting. If there is only one new page since you've last read, then you will be taken to that last page no matter the order of the posts. If the are multiple pages since you've last read, you will either have to go to previous page (Or in current situation forward to find your first unread post)

This point EXACTLY highlights why I and I assume many others use your app, as TapaTalk automatically take you to the first unread post, but with the order of posts currently messed up, TapaTalk is a complete mess and almost unusable.

The more people will use their mobile devices the more complaints you will receive.

So I strongly feel to change it back AND to add the option as Farouk said that if you click on a thread that it takes you to your first unread post. (Almost like a bookmark)

I know vBullitin Forum Software (the one MyBroadband uses) does have this option and makes using/reading forums a treat.

Thanks

Arent these votes from when they originally asked the question? ie yes meant change it to what it is now.

Yes, this poll is actually very confusing, as when I saw it, it was already on the new system; thus I immediately vote NO, as I like it as it is now. Then as I scrolled down, I realised this poll was actually started/done when the old way was still in place. That's why I said yes in answer to, and quoting the original question.

Admin, please clear this up and start a new poll with a clear and specific question.

I am happy with the present system because when you click on the topic it takes you immediately to

new message posted.

In the previous system you had to click on the topic and then go to the last message which takes a lot of time.

I vote no.

All those voted yes can you please explain why you prefer the old system?

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

I clicked on Vote and got an error that I don't have permissions .  I vote that we go back to the old way where the  new messages are displayed last. I hate having to read backwards !

Current when you click on a topic old messages are listed at the top and new ones at the end. Should we change this around and list new messages first? Please vote using the button above
