That's awesome. I don't even know what they're selling. I just ignore everything about VIL, it burned me so bad I just keep it to remind me never to make the same mistakes again.

If it can climb by another 250% I would have my initial investment back :-)

"Further to the cautionary announcements dated 13 October 2014, 25 November 2014 and

11 December 2014 respectively, shareholders are advised that as part of the strategic review process
to unlock value for the Company?s shareholders (?the Process?) the Board of Directors is in the
process of reviewing the non-binding indicative offers (?the Offers?) received to acquire either
certain of the Companies assets or the Company

Rumors of the sale agreement being close to being signed.  :) we are significantly under NAV and we just broke through R10 which I feel was important

Does anyone know why the sudden rise in share price? Not that I am complaining, this was my first big mistake...

There was a 20->1 consolidation recently.  They might have treated the data in a weird way.  In ABSA the share price traded at 35c and after the consolidation surged to its current level.  Seems your platform and Moneyweb (only other platform except ABSA I checked) treated the data differently.

Hi there. Anyone have updates with regards to this share? Was 55c the best of it or will village have another run?

Wish I could buy when I wanted to. Locked into a few other things unfortunately. Should maybe start keeping a bit behind for these type of "specials".

I keep 5% of my share portfolio in cash for these opportunities.  they don't come around often but I got in

at the bottom a few days ago and sold after the spike today.  No way I'm holding on to these buggers.

My posts are my opinion and shouldn't be seen as investment advise from me or the view of the organisation I work for.

Do your own research before engaging in trades/investments  :)

My 35c punt in Village is paying off big time.  I don't know what's driving it.

Might be wage settlements but it sure feels good. :)
