Internet cable fault since last Thursday. Telkom is the worst affected to the point of no international service most times. Not a peep from Telkom. They appear to be in denial. This appears to be their default position again. Customer service black hole.

IN also, and am sure the expert chart readers will disagree, but when something like cfr goes up 6.5 percent, I'll take a chance on shorting it for 2.5 percent, if you look generally when too 40 shares do rapid increase on result day, they normally pull back, that's not expert info just an observation and if you have stop in you safe, it's all gambling and probability

No ones hopeless, and you seem knowledgeable, taken me ages to realise, trading is gambling, except if you follow trend likelihood you'll make, so it's all maths and stats, take 10 goes at say 100k each as long as you try be senskpn your choices and high liquidity if you set stops at say 1.5 percent and profits at 3 or more, chances are you go make money, complicate it more for what...simplistic..but seems to be working for me, but you need keep emotions out and stick to plan...which is difficult 😁

Your views noted.  At what level did you short the share?

There is big concern with this share and more will be revealed in time. This is psuedo state owned.... Retrechments.... Means desperation.... And the numbers may be uglier than we think.
Would be very disappointed but not surprised if impairments come through, asset revaluations, and temderpreneurial activities....
I may be completely wrong

What does the above mean in the context of this thread.....?

If you're going to comment like that then open your own thread & give it context.

In the future when someone wants info on Telkom there're gonna wonder what if you're on about or got cut off....?

The share is worth closer to R50 imo.

I came in late at R34.50

I don't know if I should dive in again - it is now R36,79

Don't quite understand the drop; this might be a good thing!!? Anyway a much better company than either VOD or MTN, just judging on service... the latter's absolutely sucks.

I stopped out (with a profit), but almost immediately bought in again.

Anyway, how does the sentiment  now work? Do the majority of big investors and "non-traders"only  hear about this on the news and in the papers tonight and then start selling tomorrow, hence the "3 day thing", and is this only a small little bounce again, to only drop further and  go UP again next week?
