Bitcoin – BTC/USD

Here is a 5-hourly chart with a variation on the bull view where alternation is now more evident. The oversold RSI suggests that Minor wave 5 should be arising.

  1. Trusting strangers on an anonymous chat forum can be a risky business. Even more risky than the stock market.
  2. I have tried to warn the vulnerable, being those without adequate savvy: e.g.: https://swrict.blogspot.com/2018/11/sharechat-warning.html

Sell the fact is the usual explanation as the sharp Minor wave 4 provides alternation and tests the 50 and 200 MA. The chart offers more time, perhaps a week, if needed for any stabilisation period. The future correction for the upcoming Intermediate (1) marker of this count has a typical target of 4.

The upper channel boundary is moved to its rightful position and shows its constraining influence as the price action breaches the 200 MA and peaks. Now the forces of support must combat the call of the count.

The above is a link to a TA video for BTC/USD from D7 Research which is unusually comprehensive, except for no Elliott Wave analysis.

BTC/GBP

This daily chart for BTC/GBP sees the completion of the 3rd Primary degree wave transition at [3]y. There is resistance here from the MA 50 and future resistance from the MA 200.

Bitcoin - BTC/GBP

https://el834862649....coin-btc-usd-3/

This daily chart enlarges the previous view and adds the extension of Primary [4] to a new low spike making a 5 wave correction pattern. This was driven by a volume surge of selling that triggered a larger volume surge of buying from which the RSI was given a positive divergence.

Looking back from when you first started posting on this thread the chances are high of this being correct. You have nailed it every time. The technicals and more so the fundamentals are still intact for more upside, the price just needed a substantial cool off since start of 2020 run.

Mistakes and wrong assumptions happen. Hopefully seen before becoming significant but sometimes they can be and they are. I just made a few mods to the last post. The Fed will soon tell us where to go.

The rise in price was too steep to sustain until the end of this cycle. The price action created by the hype from Musk 3 months ago (and leveraged longs) has now been flushed out of the system. Let's call it Bitcoin's natural healing process...

FUD and comments from Musk over the last 2 days have not caused any movement in price which means all bad news is priced in from here on.

Good take, interested to see your updated chart.

Yesterday saw price touching the 4(y) support you mentioned at $30 000 and is currently sitting on the MA200 at $40 000. A move to either side will indicate future trend imo. A perfect storm of negative news hit this week causing massive leveraged long liquidations which then lead to panic selling. My sentiment is bullish from here, needed a healthy correction from the unsustainable highs we saw.

The link has 2 updated charts for BTC/USD. Scroll down the page to see them.

I will be posting a BTC/GBP chart which has already hit the major support and bounced.

Bitcoin - BTC/USD

17th May

The daily chart is with bullish RSI divergence. The 4’s are aligned. Wave [4] has alternation with [2] and has legs that are exactly equal. Buy indications could not be more persuasive. The structure of Primary wave [3] has been with extensions created by strong momentum. Primary wave [5] can be expected to be similar or even with a Fib multiplier (possibly 1.62)

23rd March

Support needs to hold at $53350. If not then with the reduced stretching of the overextended minor waves the count is led to the probability of the recent conclusion of Primary wave [3]. Primary [4] can fit neatly in the space to the nearest (4) but can also target as far as [4]y in the case of a panic sell off.

The currency gained almost 6% on Saturday to reach nearly $31,000, before slipping back to about $30,800 as of 1:15 pm in London. It advanced almost 50% in December, when it breached $20,000 for the first time.
