Just watching for now but

PE for Sasol taken at Fin release

2014 = 10.5

2013 = 9.6

2012 = 8

2011 = 10

2010 = 10

2009 = 10

2008 = 11

2007 = 9

2006 = 17 (?)

IF! – 35% (HEPS) was all they lost

referring to PE ratios only

2007 = R265 HEPS R25 PE = 10.6

2008 = R450 HEPS R38 PE = 11.8

2009 = R280 HEPS R25 PE = 11.2

Then I should go in if

2014 = R460 HEPS (60.16 / 1.35 = 44.5) PE = 10.3

After lunch, I'm adding to my long term.

Like Sol a lot. Good divi. One for the bottom drawer imo.

+1. Also holding SOL and have been holding since it was at R360. Still undervalued in my eyes and high potential for future growth if their investments pay off.

I am also holding SOL, albeit a small amount. It has been one of the more solid/stable stocks over time, but it seems to have hit a bit of resistance at around R600 and appears to be consolidating. Hopefully when/if it breaks this level, momentum will pick up again. PE is sitting at 10 so it is a good value share. They've just invested a huge amount (over half their MC) into the Louisiana project which could see massive future growth over the next few years.

Hi guys.

Is Sasol worth buying if looking for medium term, high potential return investment?

Sure, I hold Sasol, it is one of the few in my new portfolio which is up (3.5%) and I intend to keep it - if you look at the graph you shall be converted instantly.
