So...do we have a nice buying opportunity here?
Or are investors getting impatient and fed up with non performance of the SP here?

What these 1H14 results show is importance of MTA's global strategy. Good results out of Mutlu smooth out a production slow in SA. Going into 2H SA production should ramp back up to more normalised levels and Mutlu enters is seasonally strong period, which bodes well for FY14 numbers. MTA is still on track to generate EPS of R3.50 for FY14

Whats your take on the SENS?
Guess I expected a bit more.
I see the SP is down today - after some upwards momentum. Looks like investors in general share the sentiment.
But overall still happy to hold - will keep a close eye on the next set of results.

Is that 2Q14 revenue figure correct? I read 79,301 (Turkish Lira '000) from their financials?
Irregardless, keen to see the company's next set of results.
From Metair SENS in the past, but easy to verify:
Multu Holding and its subsidiaries is a highly seasonal business and, as such, generates the major portion of its profit in the second half of the year (during the winter months).
So maybe we can expect an even stronger second half

(?Metair?)
REFINANCING OF METAIR?S BRIDGE LOAN FACILITIES
On 12 August 2014, Metair, acting through its two wholly owned subsidiaries, Inalex Proprietary
Limited and Nikisize Proprietary Limited, entered into formal agreements for the refinancing of the
facilities extended by Absa Bank Limited (?Absa Bank?) for the acquisition of the Turkish battery
manufacturer, Mutlu Aku Ve Malzemeleri Sanayii Anonim Sirketi by way of the issue of preference
shares in an aggregate amount of ZAR 1.4 billion (?Refinancing?).
The preference shares carry a dividend rate of 69% of the South African prime rate, nominal annual
compounded monthly, and are redeemable over a period of 5 years commencing no earlier than 3
years and 1 month from the date of issue.
The Refinancing includes a revolving credit facility, which will be used for general corporate purposes.
The revolving credit facility has a tenor of 5 years and attracts interest at 2.05% over the ruling
Johannesburg Interbank Agreed Rate.
The Refinancing is subject to the fulfilment of conditions precedent customary for transactions of this
nature. These relate to formalities prescribed in the Companies Act, 71 of 2008, as amended ("Act")
regarding financial assistance and verification of each borrower and guarantors' incorporation and
authority under the Act and their respective Memorandums of Incorporation, save in respect of off-
shore subsidiaries where compliance with the relevant laws of each jurisdiction has been verified and
the necessary approvals have been obtained. These are expected to be fulfilled imminently.
Standard Bank Limited (?Standard Bank?) will subscribe for the entire preference shares issue and
Absa Bank, Investec Bank Limited, and Standard Bank have committed to the revolving credit facility.
Through the Refinancing, Metair achieved its objective of securing funding at very competitive rates
and a structure which will provide it with the necessary flexibility in pursuing future strategic
opportunities.

Some solid results out of Mutlu Aku last night. Bodes well for MTA heading into their interim results. I still believe the Mkt under-appreciating the earnings power of MTA's Mutlu Aku acquisition. All else equal MTA could easily do R3,86 FY14 earnings number, @ 12x = R46.33 shr price (28.5% upside)

Same, have been disappointed here. But being patient is the name of the game right.
Anyway, I will make a call post results. Might have to sell a little...I've been trigger happy in topping up around this 36/37 level.

With results due in 2 weeks wouldn't we have expected a trading statement saying that profits will increase more than 20% by now? Or too early?
Wonder if that cheap Korean imports are hurting more than expected. I am though expecting (hoping) for good results - got a decent holding here.

Its an oyster full of pearls, but just wont kick into gear

Anyone have ideas where this one is heading?
Seems to have stagnated around R37 to R38
I added both at 39 and 37.50.
Doubt it will breach below 37... andif it does...well then I can't wait to add more
