As per SENS:
Basil Read proposes to raise R300 million through an offer of approximately 1 363 636 364 Rights Offer shares at a price of R0.22 per Rights Offer Share in the ratio of
1 035.45602 Rights Offer Shares for every 100 existing Basil Read ordinary shares held on the initial record date for the Rights Offer, being Friday, 9 February 2018.

Anyone have any clues as to why someone would do a 1 share sell at R4.60 the last two mornings? Just curious..
Weird, Maybe it is a automated trade? Or they need to buy a pack of nik naks

Basil Read brought out a trading update - see http://www.basilread...-06-06-2014.pdf - that said they expect headline earnings to be 270% LOWER than previous six months. With recession and all it does not sound good. Construction companies are cyclical - right? Which I think means they are reliant on the general economy. Share has been trending down since trading update. AGM is sometime soon - think thew 26th of June. Looks like a short to me!
