What's the point they are not going to list as planned. Chances are they are going to come back later in the year with a new proposal.

Heard that a press release was issued. I suspect that the uptake wasn't as expected - smells fishy.

The following was posted on Std Bank:

Kindly note that the Eclectic Private Placement has been postponed. All obligations form the current subscription fall away. When Eclectic re-approach the market later in the year, new applications

will be required.

FYI as per Anthony Clark's twitter:

Sponsor (wisely) decided to postpone the IPO of Eclectic brands until more deals + earnings brings down FPE to better level. #prudent move

Sorry guys, don't know where the official source of information is for info on this IPO.  If there's a mailing list or something let me know and I'll join it ;)

FNB Securities gives an option for 25,000,that's what I took up.

Yes I'm going in for 3 years...already missed the bus with FBR, so not going to miss this one if it works out, also like their brands..

I got 25,000...that's was the minimum you could get through FNB Securities

@Mr Balls... Do you plan on sitting on these for a while?

I will offload @ 133c on listing day (Holding Thumbs)

Std bank says 50K then increments of 10K ... wonder why there is a difference

Anyone else know what the other platforms are offering?

The general consensus is positive so I expect them to be fully subscribed.

FNB - R1... 25 000 shares min

Really wanted some of these shares!!!! dont know how i missed the SENS for applying for the shares.
Sometimes the brokers pool in portions that clients want so they can get the 50k shared...
Aint heard nothing from my broker...

I have a feeling its gonna be a good one. The FNB commentary changed my mind

Had a look at their website. See they have pubs called 'The Slug and lettuce", Anybody else spent some time in London and remember the Slug and Lettuce in Fulham? Hmmmm, good times.

Think this one deserves its own thread after it was mentioned in the New Listings thread.

IPO application ends on Monday, 16th and expected listing is 25th March. Minimum application is 50K.

Issuing 175.5 million shares at R1.
