Draghi speaks in less than an hour expect some major volatility.

hey, would you mind telling me which broker you use please? and why do you trade indices, why not just stocks, or forex, etc etc..

Was looking at some forex charts and looks like some of them have very good trends, so next week will add a bit of forex in this thread and hopefully there will be a bit more participation going on here

Long FTSE 6,911.5 hedged the short, this is difficult trying to hedge positions

Closed 6,920. Stuck in meetings from 2pm so would rather close all positions

Ditched the FTSE short, we might just go above R1 so now i am just left with the long

Hedged these longs and net position is now short on both these trades. Now to time the exit on the hedges when the time comes. I want to avoid closing at a loss, i remember someone on this forum saying professionals never close a trade at a loss, lets see if i can master that trick too.

hey, would you mind telling me which broker you use please? and why do you trade indices, why not just stocks, or forex, etc etc.. 

I use GT247 and IG. I trade indices especially futures because they are easier to trade short term than stocks and i don't like trading fore because i would have to monitor data and news of different countries of which my day job might not allow me the time to do that so i go for indices. However i will start trading CFDs on stocks soon when i get my head around using my current set of rules on stocks.
