That will be a transfer from one entity to another. Your broker will do that for you with a signed letter of instruction from the owners of the CC. It does not cost anything as the shares will not be sold and re bought on your name. The year end Holdings Report will show the shares as "Moved".

I transferred my entire OMN holding to my wife without a hasle but as a CC, your accounting officer must be notified to book the transfer.

Hi

My business has purchased a large amount of shares in a JSE listed company (under the CC with 2 members). My partner and I have agreed to transfer those shares from the CC's name in to my name (personal capacity) as part of my retirement.

My questions is:

1. What is required to transfer the shares to my name\personal trading account?

2. How does one go about transferring the shares to my\personal trading account ?

3. What are the cost implications of the transfer?
