that seems harsh for guys bought for R5 and above.....

been reading about a post rights value of $1.6 billion for lonmin....

Ideas on the post rights share price before and after consolidation ? I was thinking about the 30c mark before consolidation

Again I guess that lonmin will trade at maks 32c but my low guess is 10c.

Market cap before the rights announcement was R3b, so if its going to be R9b after the rights then it will trade at 30c - And if it continues to trade at the old market cap then it will fall to 10c

Hi All,

Would like to get your views on the
current Lonmin saga.

- Will the RI be voted for or against ?

- if voted for, any ideas as to what the post rights share price will open at

- is this the time to buy in or if one bought for between R7 and R10 ,whats the chances of making back any money ?

The rights issue will be approved buddy

Who is short lonmin? What is going to happen when rights are trading and you are short?

You will have to use your massive profits to purchase the additional rights that would have been received by the loaner.

How much exactly is the PIC putting out? If it is as substantial as they say it is, then we are looking in the range of R1.5 Bln. Let us not forget that Allan Gray is also a major investor in Lonmin so they too should support this to breakeven or at least salvage 70% of their holding, better than losing everything.

We must remember that provided this rights offer works, it's giving an opportunity to buy into Lonmin at 33% of NAV post rights issue

Not done yet.... Plan to put in another long at R1.00....

For now average cost at 2.85...😇

Like a game of poker.... I see it in the eyes of stakeholders.... They will not let this one sink, too much at risk

I'm not convinced that the "heavy" selling has begun yet......

The death throws of ABIL comes to mind.

Lol

at R1 investors will have to fork out 8x their holding just to avoid the dilution.  No one is going to vote this.  Going bust IMO.
