Happy to buy more at R35 today. Seems to be a determined seller around. Co is debt free and eps yield 20%.. Small caps in general taking a hammering. Really like Bowler Metcalf at R6.50 too, also debt free.

Yes, we will. A little smack here and there is not going to "close" them...what world you living in?
You are probably one of the unhappy consumers of a 32" (Cry me a river)
Will they feel the consequences of this? Of course they will.
6 months from now, everything is forgotten as with every hiccup, and long term, there is only upside - the masses will always continue purchasing low cost quality items. Specially in this economy - I dont concern myself with noise.
Great earnings and great dividend. Thats all I need
This got me really excited aswell :
India / Pakistan / Sri Lanka
The company has been afforded these new territories as from
January 2017. The population is in excess of 1.5 billion
people. Sub-distributors have been appointed and initial orders
received.
Luckily not I don't own cheap brands, but it's still a ethical issue. These practices makes them no better than Oakbay.

I have left my offer for 15% of my stock in the market, so please someone take it off me! Great illiquid share!
The SE Asia news is great, this is a massive growth area with an expanding middle class. Television sales in India was USD11bn last year alone, with a lot of competition from Chinese brands though. The market is growing at 15% per annum.
If NWL only gets 10% of the market, the sky is the limit.

Solid results. This is a R65+ stock.
Even better than expected, and the bit I liked best of all:

Glad I loaded up today, cant see the share staying at R36. Debt free and earning 20% yield, and growing into new territories.

This is one deceitful business. I hope they close soon
Bought more today. They have addressed the TV label issue and have corrected it, do not think it will matter in the long term.

Agreed...and have been operational for 71 years now!! I don't read too much into politics - every company has headwinds, but at the end of the day, the dust ALWAYS settles, and the results speak for themselves

I have offered some at between R42 and R45. The stock tends to have a flurry on results day (Wednesday or Thursday this week) and then dies down. Lets see if i can buy then back in a bad market at a lower price. But decent value in the share, with rumours the Wildrose Capital wants to increase their stake in the business (offer to minorities maybe???)
I have been buying more, so have a fair size position now. Will be interesting to see results. It is interesting about Wildrose, my only question though is why they do not buy up the shares being offered at R36, seems a good price if fy earnings over R7.

Results out early next week According to the Trading Update, they have done Extremely well - I'm looking forward to seeing what the Final Results later in the year could bring. Solid results, undervalued and GREAT Dividend

What is the Full HD Scandal? Nothing was ever in the press about any scandal involving NWL, except for an expired BEE certificate. And that hardly counts in my opinion

Not good news for NWL

Wonder how big their gains would have been if the Full HD Scandal did not come to light.

Revised HEPS between 338 and 369c. FOR THE HALF YEAR! Can we see 700c for the year and a 300c dividend?
Great, was only expecting 20%. Hopefully R3 dividend is achievable now.
