Makes me nervous when he says there's a high possibility of liquidation and that he would sell if he had shares. Sell and cover my capital vs hold and maybe make a killing vs maybe losing all...

Yip Yip, going through the motions and playing the game. Judges need to make a living too
Like you said yesterday, which judge going to liquidate a company with good growth prospect and have PIC loose lots of pensioners money to support a R 3.2 bil claim?

I fully agree. I am quite sure the judge did not want to create a precedent that in future other companies in similar situation cou,d not be liquidated if required. It will be a different matter proving SNH commercially insolvent!

The boys at TT have learned from Hamilton and co before them, threaten with time in court equals a settlement.
We've seen this game played on a number of occasions now.
Hold long and prosper folks, you need balls of steel and hands made of diamonds to roll with this one's punches.

yes I have the feeling that TT want Tekkie Town back at all costs..They are fighting a Principal and we all know you are prepared to lose everything when fighting on Principal....or receive the full compensation for their shares.....even if they have to wait for 10 years for liquidation - they are prepared to go the whole hog.....
Remember TT old boys only sold 54% of TT shares. Furtber they received a inflated price.
SNH bought the 46% in cash from a UK investment house. TT guys cannot get 100 % of the business back!
Its going to be a interesting fight!

sounds like Thursday the court hearing starts and is only expected to finish on the 20th. I hope they come to an agreement before thursday
For me I see this TT issue draging for a long time. My take is GS will be voted in by Friday then the only claim outstanding is TT which is not sufficiente to make SNH bankcrupt. The case will go from liquidation to a court fight about how much must be settled for and will take a long time.

Really hoping Steinhoff and TT are talking, trying to negotiate something but also got the feeling there's some emotions involved and possibly not on speaking terms. Imagine the jump if we get news the liquidation application is withdrawn...
