Aww fudge, I'm still in this crap, not prepared to sell at a loss just yet, will hang in there for another 9 months at least.

 

I do however understand your point, have done this on various other occasions.

This company is getting on my nerves .

 

I have been unable to sell (for 2 Weeks) due to offers being 100% of current price !!! Missed a couple of 4% sell outs but still.

Agreed . Hopefully figures will be released on the 27th . Would like to see if this is worth the holding.

Hope that they release some Sens soon , even a hi would work ☺. Moneyweb apperantly screwed up their reporting dates that is why no agm was done .

I'm with you on that, also bought in when they first listed, has been a rather uneventful ride thus far, but then again isn't that always the case with new listings, usually takes a few years before something noteworthy happens.

Bought into them as they only hold mostly in jhb and dbn areas .they havent expanded in cpt that much (almost 300 chesa nyamba stores). I see good growth in the future . I also looked into their store costs and it seem very reasonable . I think this might be a good brand but only in 4-5years or so . Placed a couple of shares for long (to very long). Might as well collect divedents for now .

I didn't realize they were listed until you brought this up, lol. They sound like an interesting prospect, and I do like the fast food sector. I just wonder if this sector isn't already over saturated. We have Taste and Grand parade bringing in a lot of international brands, and the South African consumer is already stretched as it is. The one thing Gold brands has going for it is that it seems to cater for a niche market, which can be profitable if done right.

 

I already hold shares in Taste and GPL, so not sure if I will bite into this one.

Gold Brands are small fry (market cap of around R100m). There are better options in that sector. They also don't have much of a track record. Lastly, I believe 52% of the company is held by 2 shareholders so less liquidity.

Any views on this newly listed share - reading sens and they are rapidly expanding and seem to be booming ... but this share seems to be not moving. New news on 12 of may this month , hope for the best .
