Not shortsighted, I will own the stock. But not at these levels. One thing I've learned is patience in a bear market. Cash earning 7% is a great return, and I believe there is no rush to own this particular stock. The lower the entry level, the greater the upside!

Fair enough, but realistically how much lower do you see woolies go? Personally sub R60 again seems so unlikely and in the long term does that R10 enter point matter that much?

Very short sighted, Woolies is a stock that will outlast all of us, Shoprite plus Woolies = a very sweet long term hold.

I won't touch Woolies at these levels. Consumer is under pressure, and thanks to Pravin so is upper echelon Sandton and Clifton mommies. These babes are now slumming it and getting their shapely Virgin Active asses into PicknPay and even worse into Shoprite. Still think we are going to have a couple more negative updates, mid 40s an entry level

So after WHL's results yesterday we still think they offer excellent long term value for value investors. Value them at around R101 a share.

But as long as negativity regarding the sector and SA's economy persists its shares will struggle to recover. Offers good buying opportunity at that price we believe.

Great Company!!!!! Specially with Australia exposure...

But I see this going to R60 - Massive H&S closing, and cant seem to break up to past R80.

Directors selling like crazy since end August. I could be totally wrong, but WHL in RSA are not like they used to be...

But reckon all retailers taking a knock now as of late, competition is taking them by storm. New H&M's opening up everywhere

Down in sympathy with Mr Price for the most part.

To be honest South African clothing retailers have been caugh off guard by the rapid expansions in South Africa by the likes of H&M and Cotton On

We still think WHL offers excellent value, especially considering their foothold in Australia

Yeah - I was also looking at buying around 75ish. As it is still a great company.

Just gotta make sure the S/L are in place as you said. Only thing concerning me, is all the selling from Directors as late. I'm personally a lil bearish on it for now. Could be wrong of course. But whose ever right in this market now haha Anything under R70 is defos a long term buy for me

Cant find any chats on this one - Been wanting to get in WHL for awhile now, but glad I been putting it off. Anyone else think this one is going to see further downside. Massive Head and Shoulders formation since June, Director selling a good chunk earlier this week -

Would like to get other peeps input...Looking to get in, but not sure what's a decent entry point? If there is further downside, how low you think it'll go?
