Why buy a company with dishonest management when there so many other bargains in the small cap sector currently.

I love the thrill of volatiliy! Seems to be ticking up at 309c.

I think the damage has been done.  The restating of results should have no impact on cashflow or on the balance sheet.  So i bought yesterday when things were at its bloodiest and i will buy some more today.  Why arent things so bad? Because they upped the divvie by 33%.

A bloody Wednesday for the company.

Are we to expect a further downtrend? 250c a few days from now?

Reminds me of the shenanigans we once saw at Wescoal when Boje left.

May seem strange, but I took the move of the results release as a positive sign....

Here are a couple of options for us to choose from:

For the optimist: It's just the new FD taking his time getting a handle on the numbers. Just watch him drop the mic when he releases them.

For the pessimist: The numbers are in such a mess they had to move the result release date.

I took a view that no news is good news and that th market spooked when the FD left with immediate effect. I filled my boots at 350c this afternoon. Results apparently due week 26 September according to my broker who spoke to the company

Lol!!! Looks like half price (from recent highs) by next Tuesday based on the way this is tanking!

Market is pricing in some seriously bad news...

I took a small amount yesterday at 360c, only to read up on a FD that was effectively booted when the stock peaked in May.  So is this another corrupted Arnold Fourie company or is this a totally undervalued growth company? Time will tell, but with the very late trading update and the continued downward pressure on the stock, it might be time to take a R2000 loss. Any informed views out there?

I think those three words are worrying a lot of people and have in part caused the sell off (together with the general aversion to small caps of late)

Reading between the lines (my opinion here) he was booted / forced to resign, but there could be a number of reasons for this and not necessarily any effect on past or future results.

If there was a major issue affecting results then Rolfes should have issued a sens when they became aware of it, so I am sticking with the reason being that the new CFO is just taking his time (maybe he wants to pick up some shares on the cheap by publishing the update just before the results ;) ).

If EPS is ZERO for these past six months then using the earnings from the first six months of 38c the share is still only on a PE of 10....

This delay in Trading Statement and the last three words in the below sentence has brought out my paranoid side..... haha

"In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised that Johan Ferreira, has resigned as Group Financial Director with immediate effect"

The massive descending triangle does not augur well for Rolfes but should it turn around, buy with your eyes closed.

Rolfes is on the move.

Still ridiculously cheap.

Next set of results should bring amazing results.
