Just got a call from my daughter....Capitec sending out SMS telling clients not to be alarmed about the drop in share price & highlighting that all monies are safe & interest owed will be honoured.....Strange times peops

I'm kinda in the same boat as you JR...
My strategy is to add funds to my CFD account via selling some long term portfolio holdings & purchasing quality shares at hopefully ridiculously cheap values using leverage & hold on for the reversal.
While this could be called bottom picking in some circles...... Capitec today at R800 case in point....
Anyway everything is all over the place & central banks are already dolling out the next round of QE...I don't know the exact term this time around but it amounts to the same thing me thinks...

So, looks like the world has decided all shares has a value of Zero rand.
I will thus sit back, keep calm and buy a lot of shares at 1c and retire by 2025 when everything is at their peak again and everyone realised it is not the end of the world.
