This horse is chasing MRF percentage wise, (still a long way to go) who will win by end of August. The other horse (donkey) SAN has lost his jockey and is still standing at the starting gate. When is he, or is it a FILLY, going to move their legs forward (up) Laughing Laughing Laughing

I will wait!!
Sold on Friday at 380! Initially bought at 439 , but expect some more downturn. CRB Index is the one to watch here.

Colin Twiggs (Incredible charts) has this to say this morning

The CRB Commodities Index, shaken by the prospect of falling demand from China, retreated below short-term support -- signaling a bull trap. Bad news for resources stocks. Breakout below 255 would confirm a test of primary support at 230. index.php/fa/1322/0/

What an interesting chart!
Don't know exactly what to read into it though.
There has been quite a lot of activity around MTX of late.
A proper understanding of the company's (current state of) fundamentals would help though.
R3.50 may just be a bargain price!
But with all the negative sentiment around the market (today) I think one would have to be very brave (some around here will call it irresponsible or stupid I suppose) to jump in.... (and in the process break some of Farouk, contango et al's rules)
But, who really knows for sure.... Confused

The Share Market is NOT driven by Fundamentals.....
Greed, Fear, ..... Patience!!

Pothole

If one look at the chart it might be possible that my exit was premature. A break down the uptrend line is suppose to trigger the sell.Furthermore the 20day SMA(simple moving average) and 50day SMA follow the trendline and provide some more support. Will it bounce off or break through the support is the question.

I have noticed the interest in this share and I like it. After closer inspection I found that one of the OLD MUTUAL Funds bought 10 000 000 shares since 1st of April 2009 till 30 June 2009. Only about 2 500 000 was sold by other funds over the same period.

Good management and no currency fluctuations(everything they pay and earn is in USDollars.)

Have a look at the SAYDEX report for fundamentals. It is somewhere on the forum otherwise pm me and I will send it.

They have a debt problem BUT the S&P500 has a Price / Earnings ratio in excess of 145 and everybody shout we are the beginning of a Bul market so what is a couple of billion or million $ in debt between friends Very Happy
