Bulletjie,
What would be a good entry price on PAN?

Don't know EEZY Smile As PAN/PAF results in £ I expect the LON price is the 'market' Rolling Eyes PAN is a very illiquid stock - but its trading at a very low PE compared to others. Also the PAN/PAF arbitrage is large - don't think PAN will really ligt off before the UK:PAF catch up.

Probably these levels are good entry points - but if the tide turns you'll easily found you with no buyers if you want to get rid. (66ZARc seems a very strong support)

Good volume in London today!
Looking good at 84c on JSE as well.
Are the big sellers (weak hands) finally being shaken out.....

Seems the LAN/JSE arbitrage gap is increasing again Sad The absence of our USA counterparts could be see in the severe drop in volumes.

Volume wise - PAN sure kick dirt Smile (It is assumed that the USA holiday was responsible for drop in volumes yesterday......)

PAN/PAF still has tremendous potential (PE-wise)

Bulletjie et al,
Help me out here....
I see PAF trading at 7.45 in London.
That is 7.45 x 11.9 = ZAR 0.8860
Now, that is significantly higher than the curent JSE price of R0.80!!! 10% in fact!
Am I missing something here?
Or are people selling way below price in SA?
And the London price of the day (up 15% so far) is supported by excellent volume!
Something happening here? On a day when (other) Shocked gold shares are getting hammered!?

The ZAR has risen against the PoundSterling - negating some of the gains PAF made against PAN. The large arbitrage between the two is negated and trading volumes in PAF is exceptionally high.

Should have bought a lot more when PAN was down.... Sad
It has been improving quite nicely when other SA gold stocks were not performing!
High volume is encouraging as well!

Toad, I don't have to kick myself for selling. Confused I DON'T SELL!
Rather kick myself for buying int he first place and NOT selling when Protrade was nagging and predicting the drop (and selling) at around R1.30/R1.40.....
Feels like ages ago!
(By the way, is Protrade still around?? Perhaps under a different name?? Twisted Evil )
But I am optimistic too! If ONLY the darn ZARand will get out of the way! Mad

Yup did the same thing! Managed to average mine down to R0.79. Sold a third at R0.81, thinking I would at least be able to break even on some of it. Laughing Now I'm itching to sell the rest.
