There has been some life around the PAN price of late.
Pity that the price of gold is not too positive.
Will be interesting to watch over the coming months.

SENS out- MTX has sold all it's PAN shares
Jan Nelson, CEO of Pan African commented, "The finalisation of the Shanduka
transaction will be earnings accretive to Pan African, and ensures the company
is fully empowered and well positioned to take advantage of South African growth
opportunities. In addition, the bolstering of our boards will assist in
steering Pan African in its strategic aim to be a low-cost, high-margin, cash
flow positive gold mining company. I look forward to growing our business with the new board members."

Pan African Resources annual results: Jan Nelson, CEO, Pan African Resources
[snip]
JAN NELSON: Ja, you know, two years ago we mentioned that the capital was behind, the development was behind, flexibility was a problem. We've increased capital year on year. You can see from the numbers we are up to £4m, and that's going to go to £4.8m in the next year. And I think that capital investment is now paying off. We have flexibility, the development is in place, and we can manage our grade. Just in terms of the sustainability and the prospectivity we made an intersection on one of our sections last week - we made an intersection of 40g/ton over 60 metres, so there's still a lot out there.
ALEC HOGG: Forty grams a ton over 60 metres? I guess that's the attraction of Barberton. It could go on for many, many years yet, and they've been mining there for over 100 years already.
JAN NELSON: I think you are right, but I think one has to spend the capital and put the money back into the asset. So we are seeing good margins, we are making money, but I think we are responsible - we are putting the money back.
ALEC HOGG: So when you see that kind of opportunity in Barberton, the Central African Republic and the Ghanaian prospects that you had kind of pale into insignificance.
JAN NELSON: I think they do. And then you pick up an asset like Phoenix Platinum - it was opportunistic. We picked it up from Metorex at the time, we paid £5m, the NPV is about £30m, so we will have it into production in 14 months - its surface tailings pays back the capital in a year.

Clearly some good volumes here, Bulletjie.
Let's hope that the buying interest will persist for long enough to get the persistent sellers out of the way!
There is good buying interest, but just too much selling interest at the same time, keeping the price down..... .
