Simple Rules:
-Select any 5 shares listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, including staying in the money.
-Money symbol will be $$$ and will attract interest at 12% per annum.
-Share picks may be repeated up to a maximum of 2 of any particular share i.e., you could choose SOL; SOL; $$$; CAE; CAE - that's 2 parts SOL and two parts CAE and one part $$$ of 1000
-Only one lot of share picks per Sharechat Handle will be allowed, which will be locked in till the end of the month's competition.
-All entries need to be posted to the month's competition threat on www.sharechat.co.za before 18h00 on the last trading day of the month prior to the relevant competition month.
-Cost (initial) price of any share will be determined by the offer price as at the end of the last trading day of the previous month.
-Sale (final) price of any share will be determined by the bid price as at the end of the last trading day of the month's competition.
-No dividend will be added to a share's price to calculate its final price for the month.
-If a share is suspended during the month it has been chosen, and not reinstated before the end of that month's competition, the final price of that share will be considered to be 0 (zero).
