Whereas on Zaid's chart the close of the +BRB's was just over 50% of the candle body. This means that your long entry will be much higher than someone who uses our preferred trading platform for signal generation. Now you can see why I prefer our participants to use a common trading software platform for signal generation, I do know that I said it doesn't really matter what trading platform one use to trade. I do however encourage all our participants to use the same charts of the same data provider for signal generation.

Not sure I understand this. Surely a 4hr chart is a 4hr chart, no matter what platform generates it?

Anyway, I'll get out of your hair as I don't want to stand in the way of you explaining your system to others. I also don't mean to say my system is better, simply that there are thousands of systems out there, giving thousands of (often) conflicting buy and sell signals. Each trader must come to understand why they believe in a certain system (their edge) for themselves but ultimately it's depth of experience, humility and discipline that will make them great traders.

contango, Smile
lets look at the 4hr chart that you posted:

...you will notice 4 red bars...
...now look at the 4hr chart that
Zaid posted, you will notice 3 red bars...
...now look at the size of the +BRB on your chart and
...compare it with the size +BRB of
Zaid's,
...furthermore, check your 4hr bar +BRB closed just below the high
...on
Zaid's chart, the +BRB closed inside the last red candle.

i do hope that you can now see that...
"...Not sure I understand this. Surely a 4hr chart is a 4hr chart, no matter what platform generates it?" not all 4hr charts are the same.

For easy comparison i have posted the two 4hr charts below. Smile

Not to step on any toes or anything ... but ...

there is NO WAY you can have different 4 hour charts if they are based on the same trading data. If the charts are different then the trading info is different. i.e. 1 (maybe both Very Happy ) of the charts are based on incorrect trading data. Rolling Eyes

Toad totally disagree..

depends on the forex trading company u using..

Im using GCI Trading and although they using metatrader platform there candles for 4 hr charts are different to others, Simple reason..Time zones of data!!!
Some platforms 4 hr chart data used is for example from 6am to 10am...mine uses 7am to 11am....so candles are different!! Hence Arshad stressed everyone plz use one platform for consistency of candles!!

Hope this makes sense!!

Oh! Ok, that I would go for ... BUT .. Very Happy ...
am I correct in say the trades are the same .. just the time that's different?

So if a trade happened at 6am GMT and I viewed it at 7am (SA TIME) live as it happened it would be the same trade? Hope you get what I mean ... Laughing

Ah! Ok, all the data is at the same time stamp, just the starting point of the 4hr boundary is shifted.

Hey. I don't really know how to post a chart but if I'm correct then ws30 is looking like a long buy to me. Any comments.

So your charts are showing
1. Three or more red candles pulling down towards the 20dma.
2.Last candle formed is a green candle.
3.20sma and 40sma are rising.

If your answer is no to any of the above then you have no trade.

USD JPN - Trade ended in a loss(255 pips), if I understood I correctly. The next 4 hour candle after the red reversal was positive and this is the "get out" signal. Shocked

Anyways experience gained. I've decided to learn as much as possible and prove Arshad system to myself(virtually) before I go with hard earned cash... Twisted Evil

Later.
