Hey guys, the share opened up at around 30 rand, moved briefly up to 40 and is currently hovering back at the 30 mark. As to why, i am not sure.

Phuthuma Nathi 1 - R20.10

Phuthuma Nathi 2 - R37.50

i think as time goes on the sellers and buyers will realise the true value. the dividends if multichoice keeps it up will also add value...would you guys be picking up more shares at these bargain prices?

There are already people making huge profits, it has traded between 10 and 50 rand today so far. But i know nothing about the share, so couldn't/wouldn't advise on it. It is a nice website though don't you think;)

Hey Jen,

Yes, these are BEE share and trade in the OTC (over the counter) market. They are not on the JSE. If you are just getting into buying shares then i would advise you against the OTC market, as there is usually lower liquidity and wildly varying valuations.

The JSE website does show when investor presentations are on, these are free to attend and deal with a wide variety of topics and companies, and can be a good resource for learning about various companies and shares. They are held at the JSE in Sandton.

Welcome and i hope your investing goes well.
Andy
