I vote for the rule! Maybe three of 1 share max?
Not allowed to pick 4 or 5 of the same share...

What's the difference whether you wanna pick 5 different shares or all 5 the same?
In some cases you gonna win and in some you not.
|
But leo dont you think it will make the competition more hotly contested when your holdings isnt all in the same stock? Level things out a little?

Lets let the pole be the decider on how many shares to include. So there needs to be a cut off for voting. Friday is the last trading day of the month, perhaps that should be the cut off for the vote?
And yes Leo if a person picks 5 and he wins then hey good for him, but that might make the competition a little one sided affair in certain months. Whereas if you pick a min of 3 shares (i.e 2 max per share) we will see a lot closer battles for the win. And isnt that what its all about? Having a FUN but tightly contested competition?
Each person has his own trading method and way he makes money. So Cutloss we cant cater for everyone. The weekly pick is to short for the fundamentalist and the yearly one to long for the techies. So lets compromise and keep the monthly one without any profit taking. Seems a fair trade off?
