Ag bolloks, today is one of those (common) days, I need to trade against my nature (perma-bear). This is really mind-over-matter territory.

Japanese yen very strong today (JPY) market will definately pullback.

Those with long hold on it's going to be bumpy.

Those with shorts enjoy.

Those with buy the dip mentality buy only after US session is over

Please rephrase this, as I am sure it is very interesting, just don't have a clue what you are saying

On what back to civilization I virtual traded the strong bull bar breakout on 5 min....entered on slight pullback @ 40256 , though stochastic was high, virtually closed @ 40325 ......

Phycology is kicking in the bulls head now.

All sorts of crazy ideas are running through my head.

One big question is will the market pullback before Dow reaches a new high above the 15660 area.

All the major markets have went above the September 18th high expect for the Dow.

If the Dow does a pullback before a new high, then it will be a clear sign of weakness.

I think all the indices are waiting for Dow to hit new high 1st before the long awaited pullback.

There were this type of trifurcation of the indexes (NDX rallying, DOW lagging, and SPX caught in the middle) back in 2011, where the DOW just came short of a new high and had a good correction.

Tony Caldaro, very good TA specialist are calling for the indexes to still be in a wave 3 of a wave 5 bullrun, with wave 4 down still ahead...wonder if November might bring it about, but again don't think our market will get hit that hard due to the commodities cycles that already made their lows...!

On the other hand you sit with these triangle patterns that broke out, especially the Dow Transport that you posted and that to me is bullish, so with no taper ahead and the debt ceiling behind us think it is more risk on!

A

Something interesting to note...and maybe some has already picked it up and others not!

US holidays..sometimes the prevailing trend runs until then and turns on that day...we have one coming up on Monday the 11th November, so that friday before should mark an important low on the ALSI. So taking in account the 04th November being a possible high (with another down leg next week), as the market should rally into the 1st as per pattern and November being bullish (against seasonal trend though but looking at the charts..)

TA very important in this game and market patterns repeats itself due to human nature and plays a big part.

Just keep it in the back of your mind..changes are good it won't play out...or it just might and means lekke kudo's!
