i'm short on NPN and others too... waiting for good pullback... have been shorting from R780-R845.... looking for sub R750 

point noted....but if global not so good, then stick with our defensives (where the momentum is) - SAB, BTI, NPN, APN....

Have you been short on NPN - noted on previous posts, you have shorted?  Hope it gets smacked back to 767 level for a possible entry.....?

 lets not forget that fundamentally...... the US of A is bankrupt. their debt ceiling saga is a joke. Japan's national debt is 1 quadrillion yen. i'm not so sure on global fundamentals

i decided to exit at just under 49200, banked decent profits. and ill look to re-enter when the break is confirmed. 

Well done....I'm thinking its going to break to the upside, ESP if tapering is going to happen soon and dollar strength underpinning, and developed markets showing improvements on a fundamental basis...

If SAB can hold above R492 I think it has that upside potential to R510....

My BTI trade (via SSF) really is rewarding me from R528.....still holding for short term target of R545, med R570.

Am i right to think much of the gain in profit due to rand weakness. But on the other side, will the rand ever be strong again?

long with SHP(16190)   those retail sales reports going to keep me awake all night worrying setting a tight stop in case it goes south
