With the bad China numbers it could very well play out. We must first test support at 550 though before going another leg down. 

 

If US retail and jobless numbers are good this PM, she could very much smash through the 750 resistance and go back to 43100.

 

All in all middle of the road currently.

 

I do not have any positions ATM. No good R:R setups currently...

Resistance should now be 750 and the final support will end up at 400 to complete the wedge?

I can also not understand why everyone believe we should be going down today. US futures are green and getting greener, EU futures also indicate a higher start. The Euro Stoxx are sitting at +0.2% which is usually a pretty good indicator for me regarding Europe's direction.

 

However, FTSE's open will tell.

Again, volumes very low as we are dropping, so no one buying the dip.
As soon as the bulls start panicking because there are no buyers, we will get a nice drop. IMO

This would mean US Retail Sales will be the key driver of markets today. How markets will close, will depend on those numbers. Some aggresive traders will buy risk with the expectation of a good US retail sales number. China number might be rubbed off. I still expect some dips during London open
