Closed my long and entered short at 42850. Will see what happened tomorrow. I just hope I don't regret, normally it is bad to close long and short thereafter. Was good day today gonna put sl of 43000 overnight.

what I meant previously is the gold price is showing a start to the tremble and cratering of the once mighty dollar

for 14 years gold has been basing...to take it's interim role as a currency ballast when the world wiitnessses and crash in the rather tired brettenwoods system...

 

china and russia sits on the brink of reserve status....and they have been amassing gold for this period above....they are about to release their currencies from pegs and the world will find a new and equitable equilibrium of foreign exchange...

 

to the shock, dismay and chagrin of a lot of people..those currencies that were superior are about to become inferior and vice versa..

 

it's an opinion..or an onion...either way it will make some cry

anyone trading the dow on market trends is simple....thr dow has unseen buyers ....but if we do have a chart to watch for the dow...at the very least the dow has to fondle it's 200 ma...at least... (well 161 actually (61.8/reciprocal)...)

 

but that's assuming it's a normal market.......let's see

 

and also the inside three is playing out....

 

and there's the 'hidden pivot' that exists at 61.8% to the the fibonaartjie users..which I am ...(with a retrace to the 50% line) up or down if any move is to continue higher or lower....(remember the engulfing to negate the above).

The Shooting star was formed on Thursday already...Tonight might be the evening star and is normally a confirmation of the end of an uptrend so bearish confirmation. See todays potential action 

There's your Star on the Alsi...managed to get in a big fat short on the point !!

SP500 might close close at 1860 tonight to confirm the Evening star(I know but please ignore the doji's) and run down to 1850 tomorrow before a bounce back. Coinciding with 42400 and  42200 tomorrow . might  close out my shorts and go long till the 43300 top

So trade carefully next few hours...Ive closed both my shorts at a small profit and would rather sit on my hands and play the waiting game... However my take is US will fire upwards after 5pm!!

Agreed.. Already 14h30 and with a long tail like that so far on the daily, seems that higher is where she'll go.

 

With good employment numbers out of the US the S&P will go higher after first taking a dip (in sympathy! )

Got a 30min bearish cross confirmed so looking like the bears are gaining the upperhand...if this is an A,B,C correction together with that negative divergence on the dailies she could go lower than one thinks, normally in future close-out months she tends to bottom around the 23-25th, then up for the last high in April as per mid-election pattern!?
