. Fabes will all due respect and i will say it in a nice way but to the point.... If you do not understand why we were in the red then sorry mate, u should not be trading the Alsi as u do not know how it operates!!, Clue... Pound exchange rate!!!Help me understand this.
We basically remained above 408 for most of the day, in the last hour Europe gone from red to green, US is almost 1% up and we in the red and sliding deeper down.
How does that work? On what drugs are SA traders?

I get we EM, but normally follow direction from US or Europe during open especially days like today. Btw, did you trade Nasdaq?
yes, i bought from lows after taper last night.
My only problem is that the drop is not over. I Dow needs to touch 15400 and S&P 1700.
But i am happy the S&P is building the right shoulder for a good HS pattern down.

SA40 should have a relief rally of it's own soon. The Heng Seng just needs to close upwards in Asia
Help me understand this.

The party has stopped
1928-29 Crash Analog shows one more relief rally, then blood in the streets. Maybe a 3% rally, nothing more. Just keep shorts on ALSI. On more controlled indices, a small long now wont hurt. Just make sure you know when to get out.
Nice right shoulder forming before the big drop.
S&P now 1795, we just need to go upto 1820 then shorts pile in.

It bounces again. Lets see how it closes
To sneak a long on nasdaq again will be gambling.
Long 3470 nasdaq
Long 9290 dax
emotions out.
Closed my nasdaq early.
Only have Dax long.
Google reports at closing bell. A big number from google can ignite world markets
Expect a spike on Nasdaq after 23h00.
Good number should get Asia going.

US pending home sales figure very bad....
So is bad news bad news? Or what?
I think that doesn't matter. US investors are smart. GDP grew so it's positive. The cold conditions attribute to decline in home sales and job figures. Earnings of major companies have been good. Today's climb is mostly stocks related I think.
Makes sense. I stayed a tad and then ended with a sell at 6555 on Ftse (about to cash in) and a buy at 15770 on DOW for the 20h00 cut off. Also looking good
Good calls there. Bought snp at 1787. Only trade. Alsi would be a good buy but it's not reliable.

I must admit the weekly TOP40 chart (negative divergence) just looks nasty, this bull is not happy!
There is a cycle date around the 21st Feb and wonder if that is not going to be the low of this phase...need to keep an open mind!
If we rally hard tomorrow then changes are good of this playing out!
There is no really reversal signal since she put in that top on the 23rd Jan so I am trading against my rule..so with any bounce this man is going to bail...!

I just need that right shoulder to form on S&P and DOW
S&P target 1820
Dow target 16200
Then i will put my 1st short.

Yeah, I swear you can buy anything now and sell on a bounce tomorrow. Hell, you can buy the cat even, sell it and catch it on the way down for the bounce.
This market gave me just enough time to get out of my shorts. What a crazy day...

You reckon we will climb during the rest of US session? On US indices? I think there might be a lot of buyers at these levels and we just might get a good up day across the pond....
