Interesting...

Chart 1:

Stocks vs Bonds (S&P500 vs 30Y Bond yields)

The chart shows that US stocks were in a true bull market from 1982 to the year 2000.   Since that time however, stocks have been in a corrective consolidation period for the past 12 years.  It is only now, at long last, that stocks appear to breaking out of this bullish channel.

Chart 2:

Stock vs Gold (S&P 500)

Also: stocks were in a true bull market from 1982 to the year 2000.    Stocks truly only bottomed in 2012 and have only recently broken out.

What platform are you using to trade US and and Europe? I use IG at the moment for trading ALSI but I'm think of branching out to international markets.

Alsi had such a nice performance today, now at close it's giving in.

A nice spike up before close would be welcome. ;)

what happened to the ALSI, things started to pick up towards the end of the day and then bombed out pretty much. Any reasons for this?

Dow and S&P are gone.

FTSE and ALSI just stopped. Maybe commodity shares are draging them down.

US futures not convincing after their data. And Carney speaks in 5 minutes - he ruined the party last time he opened his mouth in public
