Ichan getting the blame for stock tumble
Billionaire investor Carl Icahn is taking some of the blame for the drop in stocks.
He reportedly said he is “very cautious” on equities, and the market could have a “big drop.” He also said many companies’ earnings are a “mirage,” fueled more by low interest rates than strong management.
Stories of comments like this always pop up after the fact as financial journalists (and traders, to be fair) look to find an explanation for drop.
Sometimes stocks simply fall because they’re overbought or for no particular reason at all. It’s tough to embrace all the uncertainty in markets but it’s part of trading.
Screw him, i buying.
Just as long as Grandma Yellen is around, screw Ichan
